I was stationed in an army barracks in Sutton Veny around 1946 and often went into Warminster. They used to have dances every Saturday night at the Town Hall and if I remember correctly the people who ran a dairy had lived close by. I also remember a cafateria which I often dined. It was a beautiful part of the country and was also convenient to Salisbury. I now reside in the U.S.A. and am now at the ripe old age of 82. I was fortunate to survive the war and hope that many of my old army buddies are still around. I hope the area is still preserved as I remember it. All the best. Henry samuels.
