A Talk by Col Blashford-Snell – 1100 hrs Sat 18 May 24 – Sutton Veny Church

in the Church of St John The Evangelist, Sutton Veny

Holder of almost all the top awards for exploration and three honours bestowed upon him by the HM Queen Elizabeth II, Colonel John Bashford-Snell CBE is one of the most eminent and seasoned explorers. He has organised and led over 100 expeditions to far corners of the world.

Programme

1030 hrs  Church doors open.

1100 hrs Talk begins with a ten-minute description of some of Colonel Blashford-Snell’s Expeditions. 

1115 hrs  A 20 minute film of the latest Expedition to MONGOLIA.

1140 hrs (approximately).  A Question and Answer session.

Midday.  Complimentary Refreshments (Soft drinks and eats) in the Church and an opportunity to meet the Colonel and his wife.

Ticket for adults £10 a head.  Children free.   Application by BACS transfer or cheques here.

Proceeds and Donations will go towards the Upkeep of the Church and to The Scientific Exploration Society.  Books by the author will be on sale.
