Church Opening Times and Use during the Pandemic
Quote from RichardJ on July 27, 2020, 8:57 amOpening
The church will normally be open for private prayer between 9am and 1pm on Wednesdays and 1pm and 4pm on a Saturday*.
These timings are driven by the need to allow a period of 72 hours to elapse after a period of use so as to ensure the dissipation of possible contamination.
*When a Sunday service is due to take place (next due Sun 9 August - Holy Communion) the church will remain closed on the preceding Saturday to ensure the cleanliness of the church for worship.
These times and any temporary revisions will be posted on the church gate beside the road.
Covid -19 Precautions
Those visiting the church are urged to use the available sanitiser on entry and on exit.
Please maintain social distancing of 2m whenever possible. During services please sit where orders of service have been placed to ensure the congregation is suitably spread out.
Though not compulsory, Church of England guidance now strongly encourages the wearing of a face covering during services.
The contact details of those attending services will be kept for track and trace purposes. These records will be destroyed after 21 days.
