You will probably gather from my surname, that I have a Wiltshire ancestry, which is mainly concentrated in the Codford/Sutton Veny region of the County.  I`m descended from the Imber family of Sutton Veny, and have recently discovered copies of Wills written by two of the Imber family: Edward Imber Jnr (my 5 x Great Grandfather), who died in 1801, and Edward Imber Snr (my 6 x Great Grandfather), who died in 1778.  Edward Jnr left property, including \"land whereon the Meeting stands and roads leading thereto\", and an Inclosure known as Bakers Tineing.  Edward Snr left property, including \"Pasture Ground lying at the Lake\";  \"Whitlocks\" (2 dwellings and garden); an acre of ground in \"Pitmead\", called \"Cross Acre\" (in Norton Bavant); \"Lucas`s\" (2 dwellings, shops, stables, gardens, orchards, etc);  and 3 acres of arable land at \"Sandhill\".  I wonder if any of these named locations still exist, or have they disappeared in the mists of time?
