The hall has the facilities, including a well equipped kitchen, for enhancing meetings, seminars, lectures, parties, wedding receptions, discos etc. It is fitted with video/audio equipment and loop system and has seating for 90 people, together with covers for 90.
Set within an area of outstanding natural beauty, the hall is light, warm, has lots of space, comfortable chairs and good facilities. It is an ideal venue for children’s parties, family events, disco, lectures and wedding receptions, set amongst an area of outstanding natural beauty. The hall has French windows that open onto the Alexander Memorial Field and command beautiful views to the distant hills. An outside paved area has a number of wooden picnic benches that can be used by hirers. Formal use of the field for marquees, gazebos or bouncy cancels will require the separate permission of the field’s trustees, who will also ensure bookings are de-conflicted with home cricket matches. The Hall is available for hiring every weekday evening from 6.15 pm, all day Saturday and Sunday and all weekdays from 8.30 am during School Holidays. (N.B. It is not available for hiring in the day during School Term Time).
